  • Date of Birth the candidates belonging to the general category who are born on or after October 1, 1993, are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2018. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD), must have been born on or after October 1, 1988.
  • Qualifying Examination– The Candidates willing to appear for JEE must have passed 12th class or the qualifying exam in 2016 or 2017. Candidates who are appearing in class 12th or qualifying exam in 2018 as well can also apply for the examination.
  • Subject Combination the subject combination for the JEE mains are as follows.

5 subjects for B.Tech/ B.E. are:

  • Language
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Anyone of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject)
  • Any other subject

5 subjects for B.Arch/B.Planning

  • Language
  • Physics
  • Mathematics(compulsory)
  • Anyone of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject)
  • Any other subject
